Introducing...

MAGGIE!!

Maggie is my spoiled rotten diva dog. About 2 years ago this little bundle of joy came up to our house. At the time T was against having a dog and told me to not feed the dog. Well I have a soft spot in my heart for animals and would secretly feed the dog. For weeks the dog stayed around and I guess T realized what I was doing and we caught her. She has been our baby since day one. She loves to rough house and play with her daddy and cuddle and snuggle with her mommy.

House

2 posts in one day?? Wow!

I also figured this would be a good place to record my thoughts on our process of building our first house.

T and I have been talking about it and we knew our living arrangement was just temporary. Well we could not think of any reason why we were waiting so we have started the process of getting the plans drawn up.

About 2 weeks ago we met with a architect to draw up plans. We are taking 2 plans and combining different aspects from each one. We got the first draft of plans thursday and was told to take it home and think of any changes. After we give him the go ahead he will draw up plans and to the bank we head. It is such a scary and exciting experience. So buckle up for a wild ride with the house!

Update

Well it has been along time since I last blogged but I decided with the new year that I should start blogging and recording our daily life down.

2010 so far has been pretty hard on me. I will start from the beginning....

For the New Year we went to Gulfport to visit some friend and to hear his band play at the Hard Rock Casino in Biloxi. Friday night we had fun enjoying the band and getting to go backstage etc. Saturday night is when things took a turn...Periodically I get very bad migraines. While sitting at the casino I got a headache. I got up went to the restroom and it got worse. At that point I took 3 aleve. I went back into the bar and it was justing getting worse and worse. I told T I was going to go sit in the front where it was quiet and see if that helped. I took 3 more aleve while sitting out there and it kept getting worse and worse. So T comes out and told me to head home and get some rest. Everyone had been drinking so I would need to drive myself. A 30 minute drive took me over a hour because the road kept getting blurry and I could not see straight. I finally get to our friends house and take 3 more aleve. Sometime in the middle of the night I woke up shaking and I thought I was cold so I put on 2 pairs of socks, a long sleeve shirt, and a sweatshirt. I go back to sleep and wake up later and I was violently shaking I could not control anything. I reached for my phone and could not even dial. T just happened to walk in the room and they rushed me to the ER. When I get there I was told I took a overdose of aleve and they gave me some medicine for my nausea and my anxiety. They sent me home and we rested all day sunday and came home Monday.

Thursday of that following week I almost passed out in the shower but I get dressed and go into work. I get to work for about 30 minutes and I pass out. My boss calls T and told him to come take me to the ER. When I get to the ER my blood pressure is very low and thats why I kept passing out. So they hook me up to lots of machines to monitor my heart rate and other things. In the mean time the dr is ordering all kinds of tests. Everytime he would get a result he would say "Well it is not that, lets try this". Every test came back negative. Finally he released me about 4 hours later and told me I had effects from my migraine that at that point was lasting over a week, dehydration, and exhaustion and told me to get lots of rest.

Sunday of that same week our pipes froze. 5 days later, a replaced water line, and more dirt we had running water. Living with a cooler of water in my living room is not fun.

So I am hoping that the rest of 2010 is much better for us than it has started out.
